Working environments with high dust levels, including building sites and open-pit mining and quarrying operations, are typical applications for TechnoAlpin’s DCT5 dust controller. Water is atomized with the help of special nozzles with ceramic inserts to produce a fine mist, which lays the dust particles at source and prevents them from spreading in the air. The descending water droplets from the spray mist also dampen the ground, which greatly reduces the formation of dust without creating an unpleasant sludge. The high-performance fan gives the high-volume spray an impressive range of approximately 35 meters.
The TechnoAlpin DCT5 is mounted on an underframe for greater ease of handling. A mobile version on an undercarriage and a permanently installed tower-mounted version are available on request. |
